Georgia Credit Union Bans Customers from Buying Guns with Their Own Money

People who bank with Georgia United Credit Union got a shock this month when it updated its User Agreement. Anyone who wants to use their debit card to purchase firearms, ammunition, and many other items will no longer be able to do so. The bank has decided that it has the authority to supersede the Constitution.

The new User Agreement says that Georgia United Credit Union will “block, cancel and/or reverse” payments for guns, ammo, and firearms accessories. Under “Prohibited Payments,” the User Agreement now states:

“The following types of payments are prohibited through the Service, and we have the right but not the obligation to monitor for, block, cancel and/or reverse such payments:…

“(5) ammunition, firearms, of firearm parts or related accessories; (6) weapons or knives regulated under applicable law.”

The purchase of products that promote “hate” or “violence” are also prohibited. We assume that means MAGA hats and Trump flags.

For those wondering why the bank has made this sudden shift, the new CEO’s bio explains it very plainly. Debbie Smith says she is “dedicated to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.” So, now it all makes sense.

This is yet another woke corporate CEO trying to impose an unconstitutional restriction on traditional Americans as part of the communist takeover of the country. Since this is a local credit union in Georgia, it’s unclear how long it will be able to survive once gun owners all begin pulling their money out.

We’ve seen major corporations lose billions of dollars in revenue by embracing woke theology. (Looking at you, Bud Light!) For a smaller, local bank like Georgia United Credit Union, they probably can’t afford to lose a sizeable percentage of their customers. We’ll probably learn the answer fairly soon.
